Parents, please be advised that there is some minor changes occured for this weekend at Hamilton:

  • Friday AM session has been moved slightly.  The warm-up is now 9:00 to 9:45am.
  • Friday PM session now has its warm-up at 1:45 to 2:30pm.
  • On Saturday, both sessions are shifted 30 minutes later.  So Sat AM warmup starts at 8:30am and Sat PM warm-up starts at 2pm.
  • No change to Sunday session times.

I need to inform you of McMaster’s rules:

  1. Parking can be difficult.  McMaster charges $20 for Friday but it will be $6 on the weekend.  There is no on-street parking within walking distance of McMaster on Fridays.  On-street parking is legal on the weekends but is still a 5 or 10 minute walk to the pool.  If you can carpool, that is always a good choice.
  2. Swimmers are not allowed food on deck.  They should eat in the changerooms or viewing gallery or by the concessions stand and clean up after themselves.
  3. Officials and coaches are allowed food on deck.  And most importantly, HAC will be feeding you snacks all day long, in addition to a lunch.  But this is for officials and coaches only – no swimmers.  We must be very careful not to make a mess, though, or McMaster will take this privilege away from us.
  4. McMaster will be running a food concession stand near the viewing gallery (Friday 8:30am to 5pm; Saturday 9am to 5pm; Sunday 9am to 3:30pm)
  5. Swimmers must be clothed and wearing footwear when not on deck.  A swimsuit alone is not sufficient.
  6. Parents should not be on the pool deck.
  7. Please refrain from wandering in the halls and stick to the pool deck, the change rooms, the viewing gallery, and the food court.
